Stabenow Applauds Announcement of VA Health Clinic Expansion in Grand Rapids Area
New Clinic Will Provide Better Access to Many Michigan Veterans
Debbie Stabenow Press Release, November 4, 2010 - U.S. Senator Debbie Stabenow (D-MI) today applauded that a site has officially been selected for the new VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic in the Grand Rapids area. The clinic will be located at the Metro Health Village in Wyoming, MI. The new VA clinic will have 97,370 square feet and is anticipated to open in 2013.
“I am excited to hear that the Veteran’s Administration has moved forward and announced the site for the Grand Rapids VA Community Based Outpatient Clinic. The expanded space and services are essential to provide the best health care to the men and women who proudly served their nation in uniform.”
The contract was awarded by the U.S. Department of Veterans’ Affairs.
